On Thursday, September 17, 2026, Galleria d’Arte Roccatre opens its exhibition season with the collective exhibition “Ma per le vie del borgo...”, a project entirely dedicated to the artistic identity and creative ferment of the famous Turin district, Borgo Nuovo, where the gallery itself is located.
The exhibition was created with the desire to reflect the profound essence of an area that, over the decades, has been much more than an urban backdrop: it has been a true open-air laboratory and a meeting point for generations of creatives. Indeed, the exhibition brings together works by historic artists of the caliber of Felice Casorati, Italo Cremona, Giulio Paolini, and Salvo, who lived and worked in the Borgo Nuovo neighborhood, alongside contemporary artists who still reside and work there today, thus witnessing a cultural vitality that has never faded.
We will therefore witness a dialogue between different generations and artistic languages, bound by a single common thread: the attachment to these streets, capable of transforming from a simple daily setting into a source of inspiration and experimentation.
