ri vo lu zio !neh? | ARRIGO LORA TOTINO

On the occasion of Exposed, Roccatre Art Gallery presents a small selection of photographic works by Arrigo Lora Totino (Turin, 1928–2016), considered one of the greatest exponents of Italian concrete, visual and sound poetry. A great artist and performer, Lora Totino used completely different means of expression, including simultaneous photodynamic photography, offering a double level of reading, sound and spectacular, in which the word is pronounced with a jerky syllabification that accompanies the movement of the body and the completely plastic one that is totally delivered to figurative art, in this case photography. Representative of this latter aspect in the exhibition will be, among others, the work ri vo lu zio !neh? from 1975 composed of five photographic prints and from which the exhibition takes its name.
